UHS Marching Band Championships

The Unionville HS Marching Band ended their competitive season on Sunday, November 13th at the Cavalcade of Bands Yankee Open division championships in Allentown PA. The band had an amazing performance and moved up to 2nd place with a score of 95.3. They also received the award for high percussion. This year, there were 16 bands in the Yankee Division in total, with 9 in the upper level Open division and 7 in the A division.

42nd Annual Unionville Art Gala!

Please plan to attend the 42nd Annual Unionville Art Gala!  
 
Friday, November 17th from 6-9pm and Saturday, November 18th from 11-4pm
at the Unionville High School Art Center. 
 
This annual event showcases local celebrated working artists, UHS Alumni, and current UHS Students along with live music and great food.  
 
This years featured artist is MaryAnn Weselyk, and our 2017 Senior Student Artist is Margaret Clisham. 
 
Friday evening includes delicious appetizers provided by some of the area’s most popular restaurants and live music from local musicians.  This fun and lively event raises money for Educational Enrichment Projects which help enhance the overall educational experience for UHS students as well help fund community outreach efforts in the local area.  As a special outreach this year, the Art Gala will be donating 10% of proceeds to Hardin-Jefferson school district in Houston, TX which was devastated by Hurricane Harvey. Thirty percent of any purchases are tax deductible.

The Unionville Ice Hockey Club Fundraiser

The Unionville Ice Hockey Club is doing two main fundraisers to help raise awareness about the club and raise money to offset equipment costs and fees.  

This weekend, October 28th, the Hockey Club members will be washing cars at
Landhope farms. Please come on by to get your car washed! 

The second fundraiser is our beautiful Holiday Wreath Sale.  The wreaths are BEAUTIFUL!  They last a long time, are of great quality, and really look magnificent!  So, if you are planning on having guests for Thanksgiving or just love decorating for the holidays, please consider purchasing a wreath.  You can click on this link to start shopping:
 

 
 
 
 
 
 

Annual UCFSD Coat Drive

Please consider donating clean coats, hoodies, hats, mittens/gloves, snow pants and boots to the Annual UCFSD Coat Drive. All sizes and styles, infant through adult are needed. 

Donated items can be dropped off in the lobbies of any UCF district school starting on October 23rd and ending on December 7th
Items should be clean and in good condition. New items and monetary donations are also gladly accepted.
Collected items will be distributed in December to over 500 families in need in our area.
