Unionville High School is proud to present Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic Broadway

musical, The King & I.

A moving and radiant tale of East meets West, The King & I will be brought to life for the community with an enchanting mixture of irresistible story, unforgettable songs, breathtaking dance numbers, and astonishing stagecraft.

It is 1862 when newly widowed Anna Leonowens and her son, Louis, sail from their native

England for Bangkok, Siam (now Thailand). Anna set her sights on a new adventure and

accepted a position as the schoolteacher for the King of Siam’s many children and wives.

The King is largely considered to be a barbarian by rulers in the West, so he asks for Anna’s

assistance to change his image, if not his ways. Anna and the King struggle to find common

ground. While both keep a firm grip on their respective traditions and values, Anna and the

King eventually teach each other about understanding, respect, and love that can transcend

the greatest of differences.

Online ticket sales begin February 26th at www.showtix4u.com for $12. Tickets at the door

are $14 adults/$12 students and senior citizens.

After Prom is a free event for UHS Juniors and Seniors that provides a fun, safe alternative to risky behavior associated with Prom Night. Students don't have to go to Prom to attend. 

This event is entirely funded by donations from families and businesses in the UCFSD community. Please support this worthwhile event and click HERE to donate via PayPal. Donations can also be mailed to or dropped off at the Main Office with checks made out to UHS PTO After Prom.

UHS Swimming & Diving Team P.J. Whelihan’s Fundraiser

Please join the UHS Swimming & Diving Team for their fundraiser, “Dine & Donate”, at P.J. Whelihan’s in West Chester on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 5 to 9 pm.   

 

Proceeds from the evenings food checks for all those that mention UHS Swimming & Diving will benefit the team’s Booster Club. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Mandatory UHS Softball Meeting Tomorrow, 1/31/18

There will be a MANDATORY sign-up meeting for anyone interested in UHS Softball this spring. The meeting will be held in the UHS Cafeteria on Wednesday, 1/31/18, at 2:50pm and should last approximately 15 minutes. This meeting is crucial as sign-ups will determine the number of teams UHS will field. If you are unable to attend, you must contact Coach Carly DiVirgilio ASAP at cmdivirgilio@yahoo.com.
